He is the author of the book, Do It! Marketing: The Kickass Guide to Getting More Leads, Better Prospects and Bigger Sales (AMACOM 2013)

David has presented for over 600 groups since 1992, including state and national associations, non-profit organizations, and companies of every size including 44 of the Fortune 500.

David has always worked at the intersection of consulting, technology, and professional services. He worked for global professional services firms like Towers Perrin and software maker PeopleSoft, as well as at a 70-person IT consulting firm. He has also worked at a publishing and training company, where he served as the Vice President of Product Development. David has held leadership positions with some of the top associations of thought-leaders, including the National Speakers Association (NSA) and American Society of Training and Development (ASTD).
